Webflow
Magic Dates is a Germany-based platform for discovering and booking curated events for couples and singles. As the site scaled, its existing filtering system—built using Finsweet’s v1 attributes—was limiting the platform’s flexibility in managing an expanding range of events. Magic Dates approached Sfera Studio to modernize their CMS filtering logic and streamline the event discovery experience for their users.

Problems we solve
The turning point came when the Magic Dates team wanted to launch a series of thematic events with unique filters per event type. The original filtering setup in Finsweet v1 wasn’t equipped to handle dynamic, CMS-driven custom filters. Rather than hardcoding new filters for every variation, they needed a more scalable, data-driven solution that would empower the team to manage filters directly from the CMS.

The Process
Our first task was migrating the existing Finsweet filtering system from v1 to v2—unlocking more robust capabilities and performance improvements. We then engineered a custom filter logic that pulls filtering options dynamically from CMS fields. This meant that with the right structure, every event could now generate its own tailored filtering system without additional development work. The result was a flexible solution powered entirely by CMS content and easily extendable for future campaigns or event types.

The Outcome
Magic Dates now runs on a fully upgraded filtering system, seamlessly integrated into the Webflow frontend. Custom filters update dynamically based on event data—allowing the team to spin up new, complex filtering experiences without touching code. Users enjoy a more intuitive and responsive browsing experience when searching for events that match their interests.

The Impact
A smoother event discovery process, faster load times, and reduced dependency on developers for future filter changes. Magic Dates is now better equipped to scale its event offerings with zero technical bottlenecks.

Sabah International Convention Centre
Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), one of Malaysia’s premier event venues, partnered with us to modernize their aging website. They needed a site that better represented their scale and professionalism while remaining easy for their internal team to manage. We rebuilt the entire site in Webflow, delivering a clean, modern interface along with a user-friendly CMS structure that empowers them to publish and manage events with ease. The new site also features clear overviews of their event halls and facilities, tailored to appeal to both local and international organizers.

Sales Play Book
The Sales Playbook team first came to us in 2023 for help fixing a filter issue on their existing Webflow site. What started as a quick fix turned into an ongoing collaboration. Since then, we’ve become their go-to partner for continuous improvements—building new pages, implementing design changes, and resolving functionality issues as they arise. Our role has evolved from support to a long-term development partner, helping them scale and refine their platform as their content and audience grow.

What x When
What by When is a creative studio that thrives on exploration and artistic experimentation. As their brand direction evolved, their website needed to reflect a more mature and intentional identity. With a complete Figma mockup already designed, they partnered with Sfera Studio to rebuild the site from scratch. The goal was to transform the mockup into a fully responsive, Webflow-powered website that honored their creative process while remaining easy to navigate and visually engaging.

Garden on the Wall
Garden on the Wall, a biophilic design company based in New Jersey, partnered with us to elevate their Webflow site into a more dynamic and functional platform. While much of their website was already developed, they needed our expertise to implement more advanced interactivity, enhance the site’s flow, and create a password-protected Designer Hub. This restricted area would allow designers from approved firms to gain access via a passcode system, intelligently managed using email domain validation and automation tools like Memberstack and Zapier. In addition, we improved responsiveness across all devices, added smooth scroll-based animations, and refined the overall user experience.

Koma Sliders
Koma Sliders, a Korean-American food truck and catering business based in Australia, partnered with us to restructure and expand their existing Webflow website. The goal was to enhance the site’s clarity, highlight their diverse catering services, and streamline quote collection using HubSpot CRM. We implemented a clean one-page homepage redesign, created dedicated subpages for Weddings, Birthdays, and Corporate catering, and introduced new categories like Public Events. The revamp also included dynamic components like an interactive timeline for “Our Story,” static chat icons, and embedded Instagram feeds—delivering both a better experience for users and a more efficient workflow for the business.
