What by When is a creative studio that celebrates the iterative, often non-linear nature of the creative process. As their brand matured, their previous website no longer reflected the depth or direction of their work. They approached Sfera Studio with a clear goal: bring their new brand identity to life through a modern, responsive website that felt both intentional and exploratory.

Problems we solve
The client had developed a detailed Figma mockup that reflected their updated visual language—playful, expressive, yet grounded. What they needed was a development partner to interpret and execute this design faithfully in Webflow, without compromising on responsiveness, performance, or creative nuance.

The Process
Working closely with What by When’s team, we translated their Figma designs into a fully responsive, high-performance Webflow site. Every layout, hover state, and transition was crafted with attention to detail, guided by their brand guidelines and overall creative philosophy. We ensured the build remained flexible for future growth and updates while maintaining pixel-level accuracy to the original design.

The Outcome
The new website fully embodies the spirit of What by When’s brand—balancing structure and play, refinement and experimentation. It not only serves as a portfolio and contact point but also acts as an extension of their identity as a studio that embraces creativity in motion.

The Impact
The relaunch positioned What by When more clearly in the creative space, aligning their online presence with the sophistication and originality of their work. The site now communicates their values at a glance—inviting clients into their world of structured curiosity.

More Case Studies

Magic Dates
Magic Dates is a curated event platform based in Germany, helping users discover unique experiences for couples and singles. As the platform expanded, the team needed a more scalable filtering system that could adapt to different event types. Their existing setup using Finsweet v1 was limiting, so they engaged Sfera Studio to upgrade to Finsweet v2 and implement a CMS-driven custom filter that would allow for dynamic filtering per event without developer input.

Grab a Bin
Grab A Bin is a skip bin rental service in Whangārei, New Zealand, offering waste removal solutions for households and businesses. With a basic booking setup already in place, the client wanted to revamp their website and booking flow to better match a competitor's more refined experience. Working with Sfera Studio, they transitioned to a CMS-driven solution using Webflow and Foxy, enabling users to input their postcode, view accurate pricing, and pre-book bins with card verification—without needing complex backend development.

Sabah International Convention Centre
Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), one of Malaysia’s premier event venues, partnered with us to modernize their aging website. They needed a site that better represented their scale and professionalism while remaining easy for their internal team to manage. We rebuilt the entire site in Webflow, delivering a clean, modern interface along with a user-friendly CMS structure that empowers them to publish and manage events with ease. The new site also features clear overviews of their event halls and facilities, tailored to appeal to both local and international organizers.

Sales Play Book
The Sales Playbook team first came to us in 2023 for help fixing a filter issue on their existing Webflow site. What started as a quick fix turned into an ongoing collaboration. Since then, we’ve become their go-to partner for continuous improvements—building new pages, implementing design changes, and resolving functionality issues as they arise. Our role has evolved from support to a long-term development partner, helping them scale and refine their platform as their content and audience grow.

Garden on the Wall
Garden on the Wall, a biophilic design company based in New Jersey, partnered with us to elevate their Webflow site into a more dynamic and functional platform. While much of their website was already developed, they needed our expertise to implement more advanced interactivity, enhance the site’s flow, and create a password-protected Designer Hub. This restricted area would allow designers from approved firms to gain access via a passcode system, intelligently managed using email domain validation and automation tools like Memberstack and Zapier. In addition, we improved responsiveness across all devices, added smooth scroll-based animations, and refined the overall user experience.

Koma Sliders
Koma Sliders, a Korean-American food truck and catering business based in Australia, partnered with us to restructure and expand their existing Webflow website. The goal was to enhance the site’s clarity, highlight their diverse catering services, and streamline quote collection using HubSpot CRM. We implemented a clean one-page homepage redesign, created dedicated subpages for Weddings, Birthdays, and Corporate catering, and introduced new categories like Public Events. The revamp also included dynamic components like an interactive timeline for “Our Story,” static chat icons, and embedded Instagram feeds—delivering both a better experience for users and a more efficient workflow for the business.

Pink Iceland

Serenbe Real Estate
Serenbe, a leading Atlanta community focused on sustainability and wellness, needed to update their real estate website, last refreshed in 2014. They aimed for a modern design reflecting their values and enabling easy content updates without developer assistance.

Packsia
Caitlin Timmins launched Packsia, a stock video library specializing in high-quality vertical videos for social media. Initially built with no-code tools, Packsia faced technical issues as it grew. Caitlin prioritized upgrading the platform for a smoother user experience.
